Jasper, Texas is literally full of history!
Do you know Jasper has its own historic log cabin on the banks of Sandy Creek downtown? The Hardy-Pace cabin was in ramshackled condition, but was moved to its current location and refurbished.
Bevil’s Rangers will be there Saturday, October 19, in conjunction with the Fall Butterfly Festival. The Rangers will demonstrate pioneer skills of the Jasper area from the late 1800 to early 1900 period.
The Hardy Pace cabin will be open to tours throughout the day from 10am until 4pm.
Don’t miss the reenactment of this fascinating, sometimes harsh, historic era!
